Announcements

SECOND COLLECTION.  There will be a second collection on the 1st and 3rd Sunday’s of the month for the school.  There will be a second collection on the 2nd Sunday of the month for the Sisters.

HOLY HOUR.  There will be a Holy Hour this Thursday evening before the Blessed Sacrament exposed from 11:00 p.m. until Midnight in reparation to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.  Confessions will be heard during the Holy Hour.  Everyone is welcome to attend.

BOXTOPS.  Boxtops for education is offering bonus boxtops, (up to a million) and all you have to do is sign up and put in your email address for a chance to win.  You can enter daily.  There are flyers available in the lobby of the church with instructions on how to do this.

BLESSING.  Today is the first Sunday of the month.  We will have the blessing of religious articles after Mass.   Please bring any items you need blessed to the Communion after Mass  and Father will bless them for you.

RETREATS.  There will be a girls' retreat given at St. Joseph's Novitiate and boys' retreat at Immaculate Heart Seminary from October 14-18, 2010.  These retreats are open to all Seniors in high school and young ladies and men up to age 25.  Please pick up a flyer in the vestibule if you are interested in attending.  The deadline for all reservations is September 10, 2010.

BANNS OF MARRIAGE.  Mr. Ryan Kieffer and Miss Anne Harmon intend to marry.  If anyone know of any impediment or reason why these two cannot be joined in the bonds of Holy Matrimony, please contact Father.  This is the first publication of the banns.  Also, Mr. Martin Magrum and Miss Kristine Appel intend to marry.  If anyone know of any impediment or reason why these two cannot be joined in the bonds of Holy Matrimony, please contact Father.  This is the first publication of the banns.

ST. ANNE'S ACADEMY. School is back in session this week at the Academy.  Classes will begin this Wednesday, September 8th at 8:00 a.m.
